It will be good to teach your parrot how to understand or be familiar with things that can save their lives later. Step-up command

Mirrors and windows are dangerous for parrots that can fly. They don’t understand that these are solid materials, but instead, they see them as a free space to fly. Even clipped parrots are also in danger of injuring their neck or beak when they land too hard on the glass door or in the mirror.
You can walk them near the mirror and windows, tap using your fingernail, and tap on their beak. You have to do it many times, so they will get what you like to tell them. They will learn how to be careful.
Make them say their name and phone number.
If you have a pet parrot who talks, teaching them your last name and phone number will not be harmful. Some birds can learn their address by repeating the information all over again. It will help them when they get lost or stolen, and whoever finds them will know whom to call.
However, you don’t have to teach your parrot to memorize the name and number. You can use a small microchip in your bird’s breast, which you will register with the company. But in case there is no microchip, the parrot will tell you the information about its owner.
Show their cage is a safe place.
They have to feel and think their cage is a safe place to stay, eat and sleep. You don’t have to change the cage so that they will be effortlessly comfortable and familiar with it. You can leave toys and perches inside their cage. Also, you can move their toys outside the cage, but you have to try to keep them inside.
